Window Seat Cushions
Feather window seat bench and pew cushions look so much nicer than foam. They can be made up to any shape or size from your covers, templates or measurements. The usual border depth is 2". As the cushions are feather, they are not 2" flat across - they puff up to about double the border depth. Helpful to know if you have working shutters.
We prefer to work from your existing covers to ensure a perfect fit. If you are unable to send us your covers, we can work from your templates or measurements. Feather cushions are usually made slightly larger all round for a snug fit. Almost any shape can be made up. Cushions for bay windows are usually best split into at least three sections.
The process...
- 1. You post your covers to our workshop with your contact details enclosed
- 2. We contact you with an estimate for making up the cushions
- 3. Once approved, we make up the cushions to your specification
- 4. We post your new cushions back to you (and your covers) within 14 working days

All feather cushions need plumping regularly, especially feather seat cushions. The easiest way to plump up window seat and bench cushions is to drop the cushion on to the floor from each side. Try and get as much air into them which will help to retain the cushion shape and longevity. We do not recommend washing feather window seat and bench cushions. Sponge any local soiling and dry thoroughly.
